S1 Pendidikan Kimia-Matakuliah Strategi Belajar Mengajar Kimia

Kompetensi/ Competencies

Memahami, merencanakan dan melaksanakan strategi belajar mengajar yang sesuai dengan materi kimia di sekolah menengah/Understanding, planning, and implementing the chemistry instructional startegies in the secondary schools (junior and senior high schools, vocational school).

Bahan Kajian/ Subject Matters

Pengertian dan perbedaan pendekatan pembelajaran, strategi, metode, teknik, model pembelajaran, instructional effect dan  nurturant effect pembelajaran di sekolah; metode pembelajaran sains dan penerapannya melalui pemodelan, strategi dan model pembelajaran sains dan penerapannya melalui pemodelan; kemampuan dasar mengajar (membuka dan menutup pelajaran, menjelaskan, bertanya, memberi penguatan, memvariasikan stimulus belajar, mengelola kelas, memimpin diskusi, serta mengajar kelompok kecil dan perorangan)/Definition of teaching approach; differences between approach, strategy, method, technique, and  model of teaching; instructional and nurturant effects of teaching; methods of learning science and its application by modeling; strategies and  models of learning science and their application by modeling; the basic of teaching practices (induction & closure lesson, explaining, questioning, giving reinforcement, varying stimulies in learning, managing of class, leading a discussion, teaching a small groups and individuals).

Tujuan/Objectives

Setelah mempelajari strategi belajar mengajar kimia melalui telaah literatur, diskusi, tanya jawab, penugasan, dan pemodelan, mahasiswa dapat merencanakan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan materi kimia di sekolah menengah/ after studying the chemistry instructional strategies by literature review, discussion, giving an assignment, and modelling, students should be able to plan chemistry instructional at school
