Kompetensi/Competencies

Memahami konsep-konsep dasar matematika yang digunakan dalam ilmu kimia dan mampu menerapkannya untuk menganalisis dan menye­le­sai­kan persoalan-persoalan dalam perkuliahan kimia/Understanding basic concepts of mathematics that required for the full range of to­pics that make up a university degree course in chemistry.

Bahan Kajian/Subject Matters

Bilangan, Variabel Dan Satuan, Fungsi Aljabar, Fungsi Transenden, Kalkulus Di­fe­rensial, Kalkulus Integral, Metode Integrasi, Baris dan Deret, Bilangan Kompleks, Fung­si Banyak Variabel, Fungsi Dalam Tiga Dimensi/(1) Number, Variables and Functions; (2) Algebraic Functions; (3) Transcendental Functions; (4) Differentiation; (5) Integration; (6) Methods of Inte­g­ration; (7) Sequences and Series; (8) Complex Numbers; (9) Functions of Several Variable; (10) Functions in 3 Dimensions.

Tujuan/Objectives

Setelah mempelajari bahan kajian melalui studi literatur, diskusi, tanya jawab,  penugasan dan latihan, mahasiswa dapat memahami konsep-konsep dasar matematika yang digunakan dalam ilmu kimia dan menerapkannya untuk menganalisis dan menyelesaikan persoalan-persoalan dalam perkuliahan kimia/After learning the Subject Matters through literature studying, discussions, questions-answers, structured exercises and assignments, students are able to understand basic concepts of mathematics that required for the full range of to­pics that make up a university degree course in chemistry.
