Matakuliah Kimia Inti dan Radiokimia

Kompetensi/Competencies

Menguasai secara mendasar dan komprehensif konsep-konsep radioaktifitas, struktur inti, kinetik peluruhan radioaktif, transformasi inti, deteksi dan kegunaan bahan-bahan radioaktif, kestabilan termodinamik dari inti atom, reaksi fisi, reaksi fusi, limbah bahan radioaktif dan penanganannya/Mastering fundamentally and comprehensively concepts of radioactivity, nucleus structure, kinetics of radioactive decay, nuclear transformations, detection and uses of radioactivity, thermodynamic stability of the nucleus, nuclear fission, nuclear fusion, nuclear waste and its handling.

Bahan Kajian/Subject Matters

Konsep-konsep dasar kimia inti, struktur inti dan ikatan antara nukleon dalam inti, peluruhan radioaktif, kestabilan inti, kinetika peluruhan radioaktif, waktu setengah umur, reaksi penembakan, reaksi fisi, reaksi fusi, unsur-unsur transuranium, reaktor atom, perhitungan-perhitungan hasil radiasi, radioisotop dan kegunaannya, limbah bahan radioaktif dan penanganannya/Basic concepts of radioactivity, nuclear structure and bonding between nucleon in the nuclei, radioactive decay, kinetics of radioactive decay, bombardment reaction, fission reaction, fusion reaction, transuranium elements, atomic reactor, calculation of radiation product, radioisotopes and their use, nuclear waste and its handling.

Tujuan/Objectives

Melalui perkuliahan, diskusi, memahami isi artikel jurnal yang relevan, dan penyelesaian tugas, mahasiswa memahami konsep-konsep dasar radioaktifitas, struktur inti, kinetik peluruhan radioaktif, transformasi inti, deteksi dan kegunaan bahan-bahan radioaktif, kestabilan termodinamik dari inti atom, reaksi fisi, reaksi fusi, limbah bahan radioaktif dan penanganannya/Through lecture, discussion, comprehend content of relevant journal articles, and completion of assignments, students understand basic concepts of radioactivity, nucleus structure, kinetics of radioactive decay, nuclear transformations, detection and uses of radioactivity, thermodynamic stability of the nucleus, nuclear fission, nuclear fusion, nuclear waste and its handling.
